COMPANY HISTORY
"Rome was not built in one day" It is understood that in order to achieve success; hard work, vision, dedication and persistence will certainly help you get there.

In the early nineties Knickerbocker Village New York opened its doors to the world of real estate representing a tremendous number of unique and diverse properties. Greenwich Village became home for Knickerbocker and as New York City grew so did the company. The early 1990's was a time of technological rise. The Internet and the increased economic productivity led to the equity market boom allowing for growth and development. With determination and a clear objective KVNY gradually expanded the company's residential department specializing in elegant townhouses, trendy lofts, to fine luxury doorman buildings. It was not long before KVNY realized its potential extending its services to local business owners assisting in locating retail and Executive Suites. As the commercial department continued to spread its wings, KNVY consistently maintained an outstanding reputation throughout the commercial investment industry. It was not long before both local and foreign Investors as well as Developers caught notice of this reputable rising star.

Today, KVNY continues to be privately owned. As progressive and innovative, it continues to offer its services with uncompromising integrity. With its ongoing development and expansion of departments and partnerships, KVNY and its sister companies not only caters to residential and commercial clients but also offers Property Management service managing over 500 apartments throughout Manhattan.

Over the years we have established a strong record and we are proud of our accomplishments. Our past steady growth has set the foundation for our continued expansion and targeted revenue streams. GREEN OPERATING PHILOSOPHY
KVNY Commercial recognizes that respecting the environment is critical with respect to protecting the future of our world. We feel strongly about this and believe in putting our belief into action.

To show our commitment, we have included a recycling material program to limit waste within our corporate practice. In addition, some of our green cleaning products used in buildings that we manage are environmentally friendly. We operate our buildings to maximize energy efficiency by installing energy saving toilet flushing systems as well as special shower heads which are designed to save a significant amount of water annually.

We firmly believe that it is our duty to take action so that we may all benefit from a clean environment for years to come.

PHILANTHROPY AND COMMUNITY SERVICE
Agents and staff of KVNY are always encouraged to assist the needy throughout New York City. The gift of time has been donated to various projects including feeding the hungry, crafting art with seniors and reading with children in cooperation with "NYCares", an agency that brings vital volunteer support to more than 850 nonprofit agencies, public schools and other deserving organizations throughout the five boroughs.

Annual NYCARES Coat Drive
During the winter seasons, KVNY opens its doors to the community allowing you to lend a hand to the homeless and needy by donating your gently worn coats. NYCARES volunteers sort and then distribute the coats to children, men and women who are in need throughout the five boroughs.

Well-Lit Chess Pieces
KVNY loves the arts! In Spring of 2006, we sponsored a public arts project called the Well-Lit Chess Pieces which was held at Washington Square Park-NYC. The event was sponsored in part with Starbucks Company and Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and in cooperation with the NYC Dept of Parks and Recreation. .
